NEW opportunities in community nursing are being offered to registered nurses or third year student nurses.

Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) is an open day for nurses on Wednesday, January 22 from 2pm to 6pm at Dene Drive Primary Care Centre, Dene Drive in Winsford.

Anyone interested can also arrange an interview slot for the day and could walk away with the offer of a position.

CCICP covers community services in the South Cheshire and Vale Royal areas with hubs in Winsford, Northwich, Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach and Alsager.

Nurses will have the opportunity to talk to existing staff, meet the head of nursing and get an idea of the community nurse role together with an understanding of the great opportunities CCICP has to offer.

Joanne Bowen, head of quality, nursing and professional leadership, said: “Would you like to support patients within their own homes, promote self-care and reduce hospital admissions?

“We are providing nurses the opportunity to work within forward thinking, multidisciplinary care community teams. You will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge, skills and experience around such areas as frailty, tissue viability, palliative care and diabetes.”
