FIREFIGHTERS were dispatched to Winsford Industrial Estate to tackle a double decker bus fire yesterday afternoon, Monday.
One fire engine from Winsford Fire Station was sent to a business premises on Road Four at 4.22pm, after receiving reports of a blaze involving the engine of a bus.
On arrival, the fire crew used two hose reels and breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze and dampened down the affected area.
Firefighters also had to remove seating on the ground floor of the bus before checking the temperature with a thermal imaging camera.
