FOREST Street in Weaverham will be closed for one day next week while maintenance work is carried out.
The road will be closed past Weaverham Forest Primary School between Lime Avenue and Fern Way on Monday, January 6.
The closure is to allow SP Energy engineers to carry out work to overhead lines.
A diversion route will be put in place using West Road and High Street.
A public notice issued by Cheshire West and Chester Council states: “A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use alternative routes.
“The closure will come into force on January 6, 2020 and will be in force for a maximum of five days. It is anticipated that the work will last for approximately one day.”
