ANYONE who donates a bag of pre-loved clothes to St Luke's will receive a 20 per cent off New Look discount voucher.

The hospice has teamed up with the fashion retail chain to help stock its charity shops and cut down on clothing waste.

The deal is being run in conjunction with Hospice UK to inspire people to donate their preloved clothes so they don’t end up in a landfill.

With the current social emphasis on sustainable fashion, shoppers can buy a new outfit or gifts with the peace of mind they’re not only helping a charity, but reducing clothing waste.

Steven Holmes, retail operations manager for St Luke’s Hospice, said: “We are delighted to have the support of New Look and are very excited to be launching this discount scheme with them in our shops in Delamere Street Winsford and Witton Street Northwich.

“One bag of donated goods is worth an average of £19 to St Luke’s so by taking part in this scheme you will not only be supporting the hospice but bagging yourself a 20 per cent discount from New Look as well.”

A minimum of one bag of clothing must be donated to qualify for a voucher, with only one issued per donation. To receive your discount, simply fill a St Luke’s bag of preloved clothes and bring it into one of the participating shops in exchange for a voucher as well as the knowledge you’re helping fund patient care and reduce waste.

The discount vouchers are valid until January 31, 2020 so donors can treat themselves to a cut price Christmas party outfit or bag a bargain in the January sales.
