YELLOW ALERT UPDATE: Very strong winds are expected during Sunday evening and overnight and may cause some disruption, the Met Office warns.
In an update to its previous Yellow Warning, a spokesperson said: "Very strong westerly and then north-westerly winds are expected to affect parts of Wales, south-west and southern England during Sunday evening and again during the early hours of Monday, easing soon after dawn.
"Gusts of 50-60 mph are likely inland and 65-75 mph around some coasts. The very strong winds will be accompanied by heavy and often squally showers of rain and possibly hail.
"Large coastal waves are also expected."
The warning covers all of Powys until 9am on Monday.
