A BUCKLEY man spoke of his surprise after spotting what he claims to have been an unidentified flying object over the town.
Damian Walker told the Leader he had been out early on the morning of Friday, November 29, when he saw strange shapes in the sky.
“I was looking into the sky and I saw an object fall from the sky,” he explained.

“Seconds after that, another dropped. I saw five objects in the sky - they were going up and down but I am not sure what they were doing.
“Then early in the morning on Tuesday I saw more things.
“They were travelling in a uniform formation but they appeared to be high in the sky.
“Then a bigger one appeared, like a mother ship.
“It looked like it transformed - starting as a cigar shape, then turning into a transparent saucer.
“There were a load of objects flying all round and over this ship - there must have been about 20 or 30 of them.
“I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Mr Walker said he felt his sighting may possibly be linked to an incident in the 1970s in the Berwyn Mountains, in which claims of a UFO sighting were made.
He added: “I have heard people saying there was a crash in the Berwyn Mountains, I wonder if they’re on a mission to look for their ancestors?”
