SANTA'S sleigh is up and running for another year, with visits across Northwich planned throughout December.
After this weekend's appearance at the Northwich Christmas Extravaganza – and again on Friday, November 28 at the lights switch-on in Hartford – Santa will begin his street collections.
Along with his friends from Rotary and Round Table, Father Christmas will spend his evenings travelling the streets of Northwich and the surrounding villages through to Monday, December 23.
This year sees Rotary hit the streets on Sundays for the first time, giving even more children the chance to meet and greet St Nick – as long as they've been nice.
Each week, the Guardian will be keeping track of Santa's forthcoming visits.
This week, they are: Friday, November 29 – Hartford lights switch-on; Sunday, December 1 – Leftwich; Monday, December 2 – Hartford; Tuesday December 3 – Winnington; Wednesday December 4 – Rudheath; and Thursday, December 5 – Weaverham
Santa's progress can also be followed on SleighTracker.co.uk
All donations received at Christmas time go to local children's charities.
