VOLUNTEERS collected more than 20 bags of rubbish from a Winsford beauty spot on Sunday.
Friends of Weaver Valley Parkway were overwhelmed by the number of people who turned out to help.

Karen Swift from the group said: "We had our best ever turn out and picked more than 20 bags of litter. The 2nd Wharton Scout group came to help.
More volunteers than ever before turned out to help with the litter pick
"We hope to run the pick more often and would hope for just as good a turn out if not better."
