JOSH Thewlis and Ellis Longstaff have agreed full-time contracts with Warrington Wolves until November 2022.
Wolves Academy head coach Paul Anderson says the two 17-year-olds, both England Academy internationals, have shown they have what it takes to take the next step.
“As a club, we are extremely excited that two more players have graduated from our academy system, as we aim to keep producing our own players of a high standard with the belief that we can make Warrington Wolves a continued threat at the top of Super League," he said.
“Both Ellis and Josh are hardworking and humble people, and fully deserving of these contracts. They are not only a reflection of what they do on the field but also of the continued hard work they do off it.”
Thewlis, a full-back or winger, made his Super League debut for The Wire against Catalans at The Halliwell Jones Stadium in June.
Longstaff is yet to make a first-team appearance.
