Water streams across the road from the River Lily
THE River Lily in Knutsford can be seen flowing across Moorside Road yesterday (Thursday).
The picture was taken by Cllr Tony Dean, a long-standing resident of the town, and shows the Lily overtopping its banks at the main entrance to the car park from Moorside Road.
Cllr Dean said: “I’ve been here 24 years and never seen it before. A gentleman nearby stated he’d lived here since 1975 and said he’d never seen it happen before.”
