HARTFORD Grange has been named as the best residential development in Cheshire.

The housing estate picked up the accolade at the 2019 UK Property Awards held in London and was chosen by a panel of over 80 industry experts.

This is despite developer Redrow receiving criticism from the Hartford community for only incorporating 83 affordable homes into its design.

Judges took into account the design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and sustainability of the 270 properties built since the project was launched in February 2015.

“We are incredibly proud to have won this award for Hartford Grange, which recognises both the quality of our homes and the support we have given to the community through funds and events for local people,” said Redrow north west sales director Jason Newton.

“Hartford Grange has been highlighted for the timeless facades and modern interiors of its homes and its wonderful neighbourhood.”

The panel which recognised Hartford Grange was chaired by Lord Caithness, alongside Lord Best, the Earl of Liverpool and Lord Thurso.

The UK Property Awards have been running for 26 years and cover more than 45 different residential and commercial categories.

As well as Best Residential Development for Cheshire, Redrow won nine other awards on the night, including two top-rated Five-Star titles.
