OFFICERS searching for a missing man from Ellesmere Port have renewed their appeal for information.

Christopher Torrens was last seen by his partner on Saturday, November 9, in the Cedar Avenue area of the town.

The 38-year-old is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build with short black/grey hair. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded top and blue tracksuit bottoms.

As part of the renewed appeal, officers have released a new CCTV image of Christopher.

The image, taken on Sunday, November 10, shows him in a corridor at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

The CCTV image released also shows him wearing a black jacket.

Chief Inspector Alex McMillan from Ellesmere Port Local Policing Unit, said: “Christopher has now been missing for almost one week and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“While the initial sighting of Christopher in Chester on Sunday morning was extremely positive, there have no confirmed sightings since.

“Therefore, while we are continuing to search the Chester and Ellesmere Port areas, we are also widening our search to explore the possibility that Christopher may have left the Cheshire area.

“Christopher has links to a number of areas across the UK, including the Cambridge and Luton areas, and I would appeal to anyone who believes that they have seen him, or someone fitting his description, to get in touch with the team here at Cheshire Police on 101.

“I would also appeal directly to Christopher to make contact with us – your family are worried about you.”

Anyone with any information in relation to Christopher’s whereabouts is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 561279.

Information can also be passed anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
