FOR their next production, Dunham Thespians, Trafford, have come up with a murderous play by William Fairchild set in the late fifties.
The Sound of Murder is about Charles Norbury, a popular and successful children’s author who, because he won’t divorce his adulterous wife, Annie, is destined for murder by Annie and her lover, Peter.
Things don’t go according to plan and the involvement of Charles’ secretary, Miss Forbes, causes further complication.
The director is Thespians’ stalwart Martin Clare.
The thriller will run at Dunham Massey Village Halle from November 27-30. Curtain up 7.45pm.
