A LIVELY panto promises plenty of fun and laughter for all the family.
Puss in Boots is being performed at Winsford Academy from Thursday, November 21 to Saturday, November 23.
Vale Royal Musical Theatre have been entertaining the local community for 52 years and are well renowned for producing top class shows.
Puss in Boots is one of the oldest fairy tales, originally appearing in Italy in the mid16th Century.
It is a rags to riches tale about a clever cat, played by Lois Ball and Sammi Hatton, that uses cunning and deceit to help his poor master win the hand of a princess, played by Jane Ainley.

This version written by Ben Crocker and directed by the company's Sally Ross follows the original tale with a modern twist.
This interpretation includes two fairies, a good one played by Lucie Neville, a bad one, starring Leanne Bereton and a villainous ogre called Grimgrab, played by Joe Moore.
Panto favourites include principal boy Jack played by Katy Proudman and the dame, Queen Wendy, played by Garry Wallis.

There will be lots of audience participation as crowds will be urged to hiss the villain and shout out 'He's behind you' warnings.
