Hundreds of people gathered in Sale to remember the fallen soldiers of Britain's past.
The Remembrance Day service began at 10.55am outside Sale Town Hall, in School Road.
The street was cordoned off to allow attendees to march up the memorial and pay their respect on the 101st anniversary of the end of the First World War.
Trafford Council leader Andrew Western was among the crowds watching on, which included a number of local community groups, emergency services and religious representatives.
