A POWER CUT which hit the town centre earlier today, Tuesday, has been resolved, with businesses back open.
SP Energy Networks engineers became aware of the issue in Witton Street and the surrounding area shortly before 1pm.
A number of Witton Street stores reported power issues, with Northwich Library among the closures earlier this afternoon.
Due to a power cut in the area, Northwich Library is currently closed. It will open again as soon as power is restored. If you have books to return staff can take them at the door. An SP message to customers said engineers had made their way to the local substation to investigate a possible blown fuse.
Due to a localised power issue we have had to close the store until the power is restored.
