ENGINEERS, authors and a host of businesses will be promoting exciting job opportunities to students at interactive workshops.

Rudheath Senior Academy is hosting a Careers Future event from 9am to 3.45pm on Thursday, November 14 and Friday, November15.

"It is a wonderful opportunity for all concerned to begin to share a brighter future," said Julia Thorley-Morse of North West Academies Trust.

"Local and national businesses will use the platform to interact with pupils, parents and staff from local schools as well as the wider community.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to promote the range of opportunities and apprenticeships in your business. Each business will have their own stand from which to deliver information as well as provide an activity."

Businesses already booked include Barclays, Morrisons, Astra Zeneca, AO.com, the Ministry of Defence, Ramboll, Weaver Vale Housing Trust, Oliver & Co Solicitors, Bentley, the Department for Work and Pensions, DWF Solicitors, 360 Digital Solution, Tiger Trailers, Airbus and Franklin Financial Services.

Security companies, cinematographers, authors, travel consultants, publishers, a female firefighter and a female engineer will also be on hand to talk to pupils.
