THE Moulton Crows will strut their stuff to a nationwide audience when they feature on the small screen next week.
The mysterious murder of villagers, who dress as crows and perform a traditional dance at events in Moulton and beyond, will appear on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip on Thursday, November 14 at 7pm.
The names of the crows are a closely guarded secret, and instead they are identified by number.
Crowman 12 told the Guardian that former Royal Marine and Scottish presenter JJ Chalmers joined the troupe for a special one-off occasion back in July, along with antiques expert Izzie Balmer.
JJ Chalmers, injured in Afghanistan in 2011, is also an Invictus Games medallist
The episode sees JJ go head-to-head with actor Neil Morrissey.
A BBC spokesman said: "Neil Morrissey takes to the broads of Cheshire and Staffordshire with his good pal, TV presenter JJ Chalmers. They are accompanied by antiques experts Izzie Balmer and Charles Hanson – all on their best behaviour.
"JJ detours from the shops to dress as a crow and join a troupe of dancing villagers, much to the annoyance of an irate farmer who takes aim with a shotgun."
