FIREFEST returns to Verdin Park this weekend, with £6,000 worth of fireworks set to go up.
Organised by Rotary and Round Table, the bonfire event on Saturday, November 2 will include stalls selling treats and toys.
Pete Leigh from the Round Table said: "While the emphasis is on fun and creating a great spectacle it is also important to recognise that Firefest is organised by a team of dedicated volunteers and that every penny of profit will go to local charities."
Rupert Adams from Northwich Rotary said: “Firefest is a great way to enjoy fireworks in a safe environment and we remind visitors that for safety reasons they must not bring alcohol or any of their own fireworks onto the site."
Tickets are £6 for over 14s, £3 for children up to 14, and free for children under two.
Discounted advance tickets are available online at northwichfirefest.co.uk at £5 and £2.50.
All profits go towards charities supported by Rotary and Round Table in Northwich.
Gates open at 5.30pm and the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, ahead of fireworks at 7.15pm.
