WARRINGTON Town are aiming to protect the BetVictor Northern Premier Division’s only unbeaten away record when they travel to Matlock Town tonight.

However, they will have to do it without at least two of the players who started Saturday’s 1-0 win at Whitby Town.

Bohan Dixon, who started in attack and was voted as Yellows’ man of the match by the opposition, is unavailable due to work commitments.

Town will also be without midfielder Steve Jennings, who starts a three-match suspension for his sending-off in last week’s 2-2 draw with Lancaster City.

All of this could mean recalls to the starting line-up for Tony Gray, who came off the bench to score the winning goal on Saturday, and Scott Sephton.

Josh Amis (foot) and Louis Barnes (hamstring) are not expected to feature while Jack Dunn (knee) is a long-term absentee.

Warrington will jump into the play-off spots with a win tonight and, depending on other results, they could end the evening as high as second.

They face a Matlock side who ended a run of three straight defeats by beating Mickleover Sports 3-1 on Saturday. The Gladiators sit fourth in the table.
