COLOURFUL pumpkins are being knitted by enthusiasts to raise funds for a community group.
Rudheath and Witton Together knit and natter group is knitting pumpkins for Halloween.
The group will be running a stall outside The Venue community centre on Gadbrook Road every Thursday until the end of the month from 2.45pm to 3.30pm.
Rudheath mum-of-three Katie Brown, who runs the group, said: "We are selling ready knitted pumpkins to buy with money going towards the group. We teach knitting for free every week. All materials are provided."
The group meets from 1pm to 3pm every Thursday.

"During the school holidays we encourage children with an adult to learn to knit and make their own pumpkin," said Katie.
"It's a drop in session so come along whatever time suits.
"If you want to make a lovely pumpkin for free or just want to bring your own project and have a natter, pop in."
