'Unsafe' former car wash and valet centre building earmarked for demolition
PLANS to demolish a former hand car wash and valet building have been submitted.
The white, timber-framed valeting bay in Old Warrington Road – between the Witton Street and Albion Road junctions – could be removed in around four days should plans be approved.
The application has been submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council by Alderley Edge-based property development company North West Portfolio Ltd – part of the Emerson Group.
It states that the building is ‘unsafe’, and that the demolition would involve excavation machinery and skips – demolishing the building down to slab level.
