FREE heart tests are to be available to young people in Northwich next month.
These screening days, run by the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) charity, are free to take part in for those aged between 14 and 35.
CRY is encouraging as many people to take advantage of this as possible, as the tests can flag up potentially fatal diseases which would otherwise go undetected.
Screenings are critical for early diagnosis and preventing heart conditions from worsening.
Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions
The screenings will be held at Witton Albion’s Wincham Park Stadium on Chapel Street on Sunday, November 3.
