NEW exhibitions opening at the Museum of Modern Art in Machynlleth this Saturday, September 21, will include Ruth Koffer's 'Searching for the Light'.

On to November 16, the works are colourful sketches created for the Birmingham Buddhist Centre as a spiritual practice of appreciation, receptivity and celebration of beauty in nature.

Ruth works in bold coloured pencils while she walks and takes in the special autumn light, and her drawings are friendly and joyful.

Ruth will be running a 'Sketchbook Studies Day' on Saturday, October 19, with information available on www.ruthkoffer.com.
