GREAT grandparents living in Birchwood have celebrated 60 years of happy marriage.
Keith and Barbara Wood commemorated their diamond wedding anniversary last week surrounded by their family, which includes two children, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren with another on the way.
The couple met while working in Manchester, as a butcher and a dress machinist, but soon tied the knot and began living in Failsworth.
After taking early retirement they lived in Spain for a number of years before returning to spend quality time with their family in Warrington.
Keith, 82, enjoys to watch sport while Barbara, 78, prefers Strictly Come Dancing and tennis.
Their secret to a long and happy marriage is give and take, respect and that everything can be sorted over a cup of tea.
