FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from Wade Brook in Northwich just after 3am this morning.
Firefighters from Northwich were called to Wade Brook, just off Manchester Road, following reports of a man in the water.
A passer-by had managed to throw the man a life ring, but was unable to pull him from the water. Crews rescued the man using throw lines and hauled him out of the water.
Crews were at the scene for about15 minutes.
