TOWN Bridge swung open for river traffic earlier today, Thursday.
Town Bridge - one of a pair of swing bridges with Hayhurst Bridge - was closed to cars from late morning into early afternoon, as a barge passed along the River Weaver.
Town Bridge into Northwich town centre is currently closed to allow a large ⛴ to pass through.

The vessel, 'Safe Hand', has been docked at Saltersford Lock and is thought to be en route to Yarwoods Basin for refurbishment work.
