A MOTORIST was checked by paramedics after a five-vehicle smash in Winsford.
Two fire crews, one from Winsford and one from Northwich, were called to reports of a collision on Wharton Road in Winsford shortly after 11am on Saturday.
On arrival crews discovered that the collision involved five cars and that no-one was trapped inside any of them.
Only one lane was kept open as emergency services worked at the scene.
Firefighters made the vehicles safe and paramedics checked over a man who had been involved in the collision.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 20 minutes.
