FOLLOWING on from the excitement of a visit from Neil Morrissey and the Celebrity Antiques Road Trip team last month, Northwich Antiques and Collectables Centre in Barnton is getting ready to host another event.
Steve Cooper and Sophie Osborne, aka The Doodlebugs, are currently enjoying phenomenal success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with their play, Paradise Lodge.
The play is a musical comedy about dementia and, throughout it, Steve and Sophie sing songs from the Second World War, accompanied by Steve on his ukulele.
On Monday, September 2 from noon until 2pm, The Doodlebugs will be visiting the Penny Farthing Tearoom at Northwich Antiques Centre to entertain with a wartime singalong.
Not only will it be a fun event with songs that everyone knows, but it will also commemorate 74 years since the end of the Second World War.
The entertainment will be absolutely free, although any voluntary donations to Dementia UK will be gratefully received.
Delicious lunches and homemade cakes will be available to buy.
Northwich Antiques and Collectables Centre, formerly The Red Lion, is at 4-6 Runcorn Road in Barnton.
