When is a road closure not a closed road?
SHIPBROOK Road in Rudheath is set to be closed for a week due to carriageway resurfacing.
The road will be closed between the junction with Heathcote Gardens and Middlewich Road, from Wednesday this week, and is expected to remain closed until next Tuesday, August 27.
A diversion route will be put in place directing traffic along Agecroft Road and Middlewich Road.
A public notice issued by Cheshire West and Chester Council, said: “A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use alternative routes.”
