THE Canal and River Trust is hoping to inspire the next generation of anglers with free ‘Learn to Fish’ events in the town.
The sessions will be taught by fully qualified angling coaches and all the bait and equipment is provided.
Car parking is available.
To give you every opportunity to take part, the trust is asking people to book one slot at a time per person, spare spaces will be offered on the day when available.
People taking part have also been asked to arrive 15 minutes before your booked slot. Anyone who is late will still be accommodated, but may have to wait until a suitable slot becomes available.
The canal bridge near the Tetton Lane and Booth lane junction is where the events will be held.
There are sessions today and next Thursday on August 22.
