NORTHWICH'S most talked about new bar and food hall, Barons Quay Social is now open to the public after months of anticipation.

The street food and live music bar opened its doors for a sneak preview last night with a glitzy launch party.

Northwich's deputy mayor Cllr Mrs Linda Nelson, Weaver Vale MP Mike Amesbury, local businesses, neighbours and friends were all lucky enough to get a first look at the new food, leisure and entertainment hub.

Northwich Guardian:

Guests were treated to a special evening of live music, food samples from some of the food hall vendors, cocktails and free flowing fizz whilst they took in the stunning wall art and state-of the art décor.

Barons Quay Social is now open to the public from today and a launch programme with live music, sports and a variety of DJ’s across the opening weekend has been planned.

Northwich Guardian:

Carl Thomas, Barons Quay Social director, said: "We are over the moon the be opening our doors this weekend. We still have quite a few finishing touches to do but the roof terrace is open and the bars are stocked so we are good to go.

"We’ve had so much support from both the council and the local community, we can’t wait to show the place off."

Live music will start at 9pm tonight with the Lift Offs and a DJ set from Melvyn Lynch will go on until 3am.
