Four men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after an Eastleigh man was found dead in a layby.
A 25-year-old man, a 28-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, all from Winchester, and a 31-year-old man from Eastleigh, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
They are currently in police custody.
The body of Gurinderjit Rai, 41, was found in a car in Shepherds Farm Lane, Corhampton on Saturday, July 13.
A post mortem examination confirmed that he had died as a result of shotgun wounds.
The police believe it was a targeted attack and the man’s next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A police spokesperson said: "Anyone with information should call us on 101, quoting Operation Coach.
