BLAST off with Davenham Theatre as it celebrates 50 years since man's first steps on the moon.
The family fun day at the theatre in Church Street, between 2pm and 5pm, will include storytelling, crafts and entertainment.
Professors Nook and Cranny will be on hand to tell the tale of the famous moon landing in 1969, when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took 'one giant leap for mankind'.
Share your own theories and tales, craft your own planet not yet explored, and – if you're ready to impersonate your astronaut heroes – try out a moonwalk on the Davenham Theatre stage.
Tickets for the fun day are £3, with refreshments and a tombola also on offer.
