MIKE Amesbury has discussed issues ranging from green energy to transport links with a leading business figure.
Mike, MP for Weaver Vale met with Philip Cox recently to discuss a range of issues affecting his constituency.
Mr Cox is the chief executive of the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership, which is concerned with matters of investment and aiding business
He met with the MP in relation to topics such as the future economy, green energy, transport links and employment strengths and challenges in Weaver Vale.
Mike said: “The LEP works hard to represent businesses in my constituency and I always value the opportunity to find out what their concerns are and how I can help going forward.
“We spoke about a number of issues impacting on the economy and business in Weaver Vale and I’ll be taking these forward with colleagues and the government where appropriate.”
