THE latest exhibition to grace the walls of Northwich’s Obeid Galleries and Events looks at life in 20x20 vision.

Boasting a whole range of images, from traditional country landscapes and wildlife scenes, to abstract canvases and a very special Lego creation of recent Glastonbury star Billie Eilish, the gallery is currently showcasing creative scenes captured on 20cm2 canvases.

Launched in conjunction with the Northwich Festival of Arts, the exhibition runs throughout July and is the third event organised by the gallery, which sits above Abda Café on Crown Street, since its relaunch in May.

The 20 x 20 exhibition kicks off with a free mixed media workshop with artist Jaz Elwick from 10am to 4pm tomorrow, Saturday.

All materials are included and Jaz will be on hand to guide budding artists through an array of techniques and mediums.

And it’s not too late to add your own contribution to the exhibition.

Gallery manager Zoe Corker said: “We’re opening our gallery to everyone who enjoys creating all types of art, including 3D and in all mediums. All we ask is that the work is a maximum size or 20x20cm, including any framing. This includes children, who we feel are the next generation of budding creatives.”

She added: “Obeid Gallery and Events is proud to be supporting the creative community in Northwich, we strive to provide artists with a helping hand and a first step on the ladder into selling their work commercially.”
