CONCISE Technologies will be sponsoring the Northwich Festival of Running as it returns this Sunday for a second year.
The event, in aid of The Joshua Tree, is organised by Northwich Running Club and involves timed 2k, 5k and 10k fun runs at Carey Park.
Gadbrook Park-based IT support services company Concise Technologies will have a number of members of staff taking part on the day.
A spokesman said: “We are an energetic organisation which actively encourages sports and physical activity within the team.
“We often challenge colleagues to take part in sporting events such as football and badminton, but running is undoubtedly the most popular activity amongst the team.
“We have a number of runners including 3 London Marathon finishers and one about to do their first Ironman.
“This year we added an additional 50 minutes a week onto employees’ lunch breaks so that they could spend more time walking during the working day – that’s 40 hours per year. We wish the Northwich Festival of Running every success and encourage people to lace up their trainers, enter the race but most of all have fun. Concise Technologies will be there to cheer runners on.”
