A PENSIONER was attacked after a row erupted inside a pharmacy in Penketh.
Two men were inside Lloyds Pharmacy on Honiton Way at around 3.15pm on Saturday, June 1, when a ‘verbal altercation’ took place.
This argument continued outside the store, and lead to a 69-year-old man being assaulted.
He suffered an injury to his arm during the incident, with police appealing for information from members of the public over the identity of his attacker.
Detective inspector John O’Driscoll said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen either two men having an altercation or anyone who assisted the man with the injured arm.
“I also believe there were people inside a dark-coloured car, possibly an Audi, around the time of the incident and may have witnessed what happened – I would appeal to you to come forward with any information, no matter how small.”
