HOYLAKE'S Daniel Craig has been papped at the gym preparing for his James Bond return.
The 51-year-old had minor ankle surgery after he was injured on set in Jamaica last month.
An image, taken by Greg Williams, was posted on the 007 official Twitter account showing the actor at the gym in Pinewood Studios.
It shows Craig working out with an ankle boot on ahead of his fifth and reportedly last outing as the infamous secret agent.
The tweet said: "007 Daniel Craig hitting the gym hard @pinewoodstudios, prepping for shooting next week! #Bond25."

This is not the first time that Craig had been injured while filming on a Bond set as in 2006 he had two teeth knocked out while making Casino Royale and lost a fingertip in 2008 while filming Quantum of Solace.
It was confirmed earlier this year that Rami Malek, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, would appear in the 25th Bond film as a villain.Â
