DO you remember the Second World War, or have you been told stories of Northwich in wartime?
St Helen Church Witton is already making preparations to mark the 80th anniversary of the start of the Second World War, which falls later this year.
As part of this, the church is looking to gather stories and information from 1939 to 1945, be it from or about the community and those who lived in Northwich.
The church will be compiling everything it can ahead of the nationwide Heritage Open Days festival in September, when it plans to publish a booklet of memories.
If you would like to get involved, you can email Revd Jane Millinchip at revjanemillinchip@outlook.com or pop into the church one Saturday morning, between 10am and noon, for a chat.
