A NIGHT of nostalgia was enjoyed at Northwich Memorial Court on Friday, as two legends of the Merseyside music scene took to the stage.
The Merseybeats and The Swinging Blue Jeans – stars of the area's golden age of music alongside The Beatles in the 1960s – performed in town in aid of relationship counselling charity Relate Cheshire & Merseyside.
The charity, of which Merseybeats frontman Tony Crane MBE is a patron, offers advice and a safe space for couples across the north west.

The two bands posed for photos with staff and volunteers at the charity following the gig.
