ORGANISERS are anticipating a large crowd at this weekend’s Broughton Carnival.
Arranged by the Broughton and Bretton Community Centre committee, the event returns for a ninth year on Saturday, June 8.
A parade from Broughton Primary School will kick off the day prior to the crowning of the Rosebud Queen of the Carnival on the Brookes Avenue playing field.
There will be a funfair, including a variety of stalls, performances, refreshments and entertainment including dog show events, rides, magicians and many other attractions.
The carnival will run between noon and 5pm and pre-sale wristbands are priced at £2 for adults, while children go free.
