THE Sir John Deane’s Rotary Interact club has presented a homeless charity with a £500 donation, following a year of fundraising events.
Club president Rebekah Kenny visited the ‘Share’ hub in Chester last week, meeting volunteers and those who have received support.
The charity helps reintegrate former homeless people back into society with jobs, living accommodation and more.
It also supports refugees.
Textiles, performing arts and photography student Rebekah took up the role for 2018/19, and along with fellow Interact members has overseen fundraising efforts such as the annual Northwich Rotary Bonfire evening at Verdin Park.
