A SCOTS rescue pooch has been named in honour of a favourite Game of Thrones character to mark the end of the series.
Tyribone Lannister, a lurcher, was given his moniker as an homage to Tyrion Lannister, the fan-favourite character made famous by Peter Dinklage.
The dog arrived at the Scottish SPCA's Lanarkshire centre as a stray with injured feet and the charity has been unable to reunite him with his owner.

Tyribone, who is aged around two or three, can't be rehoused with cats or small animals.
The charity said: "This boy loves his food and is definitely the way to his heart, he would do anything for a treat or three!
"Tyribone Lannister spends a lot of time in his bed and he would love a new home with a huge bed in front of a big fire.

"He is an affectionate boy and will sit with you for cuddles.
"He will love an owner who will spend most of the day giving him lots of attention as he is not keen being on his own."
