Council chief Steven Broomhead
STEVEN Broomhead has been named in the top 10 of the north west power list.
The chief executive of Warrington Borough Council is 10th in a list of the 25 most influential politicians, public figures and academic leaders published by Insider.
Its annual Power 100 list ranks the most influential business people in the north west – with Birchwood-based BetFred duo the Done brothers in 18th.
Mr Broomhead is on the separate politics list which is headed by Richard Leese of Manchester City Council.
As well as chief executive of the council, Mr Broomhead is vice chairman of Warrington Wolves.
