FAMILIES gathered in the park this weekend to protest about the impact climate change will have on future generations.

Up to 60 people, including parents, grandparents and children, gathered together on Sunday to make signs and banners and sign a statement calling for more action to avert an environmental crisis.

It came as a 'Mothers Rise Up' climate march was held in London and was organised by people who couldn't make the trip but still wanted to express their concerns.

Councils including Oxford, Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse have recently declared a climate emergency after motions received cross party support.

Sunday's protestors however believe the authorities should be taking more action themselves to tackle climate change.
