A SOLD out crowd packed into Warrington town centre on Saturday night as Warrington Music Festival got under way.
The Farm and Shaun Ryder's Black Grape provided the highlights at the free event at Golden Square Shopping Centre.

The event 'sold out' on the same day that tickets were released earlier this year.

Clint Boot, of the Inspiral Carpets, was also on hand with a DJ set while Fez also entertained the crowds.
Around 3,000 tickets were given away.
The music starts again at 12pm today, Sunday, with a headline set by Winachi Tribe to round off the weekend,
You don't need tickets to attend today, just turn up.
