THE Children’s Adventure Farm Trust is seeking generous sponsors to come forward and help raise vital funds at this year’s Ladies Lunch event.

This year’s event has a Mamma Mia theme, and takes place on Wednesday, June 19 at The Mere Golf Resort & Spa.

It supports CAFT, which holidays and activities for terminally ill, chronically sick, disabled and disadvantaged children across the north west.

From its humble beginnings with 80 ladies in 2005, the event saw more than 350 guests attend last year to raise £60,000.

Pippa Watton from CAFT said: “This really is a wonderful event which has sold out the last couple of years so it’s a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to get themselves in front of an audience of our generous supporters.

"Securing sponsoring for events is so important as it ensures our costs are covered, meaning we can help even more children with the money raised.

"We have a huge range of sponsorship opportunities, everything from £100 for an advert in the programme, £750 to be the sponsor of the prize brochure, right through to £2,500 to sponsor the theming and decoration of the room.

"All sponsorship is gratefully received and will be acknowledged on the day, we will do everything we can to tell the world about our sponsors fabulous support.

"The top three sponsorship opportunities even come with tickets for the event as part of the thank you package. It really is a win-win situation."

CAFT is also seeking unique raffle prizes. In the past, items such as Louis Vuitton and Lana Marks handags have received huge amounts of attention on the day and helped raise thousands of pounds.

Tickets are selling fast at £50. The event will be hosted by Paul Sleem who will keep guests entertained throughout a day of fun and fundraising alongside special guests.

A themed drinks reception launches the event at 10.30am, with guests then invited to browse the many stalls on offer.

The charity will be holding special raffles, an auction, and a few surprises and treats along the way. Guests will enjoy a delicious meal and goodie bag.
