THE countdown is now on for this year's edition of Sound City.

Taking place from Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5 at various locations in Liverpool's bustling Baltic Triangle area, organisers have now revealed a plethora of artists who are set to perform across the weekend and details of the all-important after-show parties.

Named as the UK's leading independent festival for emerging talent, Sound City will host an odyssey of music discovery which includes this year's headliners Loyle Carner, Shame, Mabel and The Magic Gang.

To close the weekend, organisers spilled the beans on a spectacular after show party from Noisey x Levi's Music Project at Constellations, with headliner slowthai bringing his fusion of grime, punk and rap alongside guests Ms Banks, Aystar and Noisey DJs.
