A STRETTON pre-school has been celebrating after a glowing Ofsted report.
St Matthews Pre-School in Stretton Road was judged to be outstanding across all areas after its inspection earlier this year.
The Ofsted inspector, who spent a full day at the pre-school, praised the stimulating environment, organisation and the way children had fun in a friendly setting.
A spokesperson for St Matthews said: "Both staff and parents were absolutely delighted with the outcome.
"It is a true reflection of all the hard work and planning that goes into providing the best educational start for our pre-school children."
To celebrate, children, staff, parents and other members of the Stretton community enjoyed an end-of-term Toddle and Easter egg hunt with celebratory drinks and cake.
Places at the pre-school are available from September and details can be found on its website.
